Housing inventory is finally picking up in many Chicagoland Neighborhoods and Suburbs. If you’ve been having a hard time finding the right home to purchase, this is a great time to take a second look. We saw a lot of new homes come on the market in the last month. The numbers for May are looking great!
Inventory is still low, but things are finally starting to pick up! Depending on where you want to move in Chicagoland, you may have a hard time finding a home for sale that meets your criteria. It’s not all bad news though. A few popular neighborhoods have more homes for sale than they did this time last year. In addition, the northern suburbs are significantly up in inventory.

The Loop is the downtown, and heart of commerce for the city of Chicago. It received its name for the “El” train lines that encircle it in a loop of elevated tracks.
